I find the distinct property much more interesting and non obvious. It looks like non consecutivity is only there to force unique solutions hence called zeckendorf representations

Non consecutive isn't surprising, any consecutive Fibonacci numbers in the sum can be replaced with their sum, which is itself a Fibonacci number by definition

Redundancy may be the method they implied. I've seen it happen to my partner and several colleagues. It's laughable how easy it seems to tailor a redundancy to 1 or a few specific people, and the cost of fighting it is not worth i

From the article Intel said Thursday that the company will lay off more than 15 percent of its workforce and Intel will cut roughly 15,000 of its 131,000-employee headcount, most by the end of the year 15% of 131,000 is ~20,0

The landing page is light on details, from the about page in the browser it is based on Microsoft Edge WebView2 [1] and a blog post from last year [2] says > It’s not a “fork” of any other browser code; all the code, from tab and bookmar

A politician may be more or less qualified than the business owner, but they don't have the obvious conflict of interest and are more likely to act in the interest of the locality as a whole

large trailers have their own braking system that bypasses most of the forces going through the hitch, so you use energy from the car to pull the trailer uphill but don't get much of it back when going downhill

Furthermore, what is this kind of chart called? How was it laid out? Is it a one off manual kinda deal. Does this even have any advantages over a pie chart? IIRC people are not good at judging relative area at all, even circles. How much do

That's because "real knots" depend heavily on the material they are tied in. Many knots that work well in a hemp rope won't hold in slippery dyneema, even fewer will hold in fishing line. Mathematics wouldn't be the

So it's not free to camp, we'll end up with centralised mega hosters (seedboxes in the tracker analogy) and in practice travelers will be too small time to actually be able earn any credits

1 host = 1 credit looks like a problem, similar to how it can be hard to build up ratio on well established private torrent trackers. The distribution of credits will not be even with many hosts building up credits for some nebulous future
