I used the Nintendo switch charger since the switch came out and nothing bad ever happened. Same in the other direction - regularly charged a switch with a different charger and all worked fine.

Similar, my MBP 14 takes a long time to wake up when connected to a studio display and I need it to wake up quickly, then wakes up every time I just walk past the desk when I want it to stay off. My work HP Chromebook also takes a long time
