In my experience B2B services are more successful when they are more serious. While I find this website funny, it doesn't give me enough arsenal to sell it to my team/manager/company. The best SaaS products have clear value p

On revenue reports, the term Google Cloud includes Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google Workspace (formerly G Suite). Sorry for the confusion.

We keep hearing horror stories like this on HN and yet Google Cloud revenue jumps to $13.06 billion in 2020, up 47% year-over-year from $8.92 billion in 2019. Either HN bias towards google is making sure these posts hit front page frequentl

Being all-remote makes it harder to get acquired. Even if the acquirer is forward thinking, there are many complications to be addressed (compliance with existing hr/payroll/etc). Last I've checked Gitlab was en route to IPO

What you’ve said has nothing to do with languages. Claiming X devs are better than Y devs is just your bias. Other languages can be more domain specific, have more frictions around using package management, and have less nr of developers.

I’ve emailed and sent Linkedin msgs to 3 people who work at gcp for cloud credits. They didn’t care. AWS gave us credits + support in less than 3 days. I wish Google best of luck with their 5yr strategy. Hope their enterprise game is better
