It should always be personal productivity but as a CEO your productivity is how much better you're doing than someone else in that role would. In the modern world too often executive compensation is viewed as "How valuable is thi

I think it's a pretty reasonable question when the salary is so incredibly out of line with what developers make. Is the CEO singlehandedly responsible for productivity equal to that of sixty or so developers?

Just like with pretty much any other substance we use medically - it's good for some people but it comes with some side effects so if it's not doing anything for you it's probably best to abstain.

It's more healthy to abstain from alcohol or cigarettes than edibles.

This comment in itself is likely to cause anxiety. "Your mental health issues cannot be solved by anything short of a societal shift." I agree that there's a lot of things we could change as a society to meaningfully improve

Not in the quantities you'd find medicinal for anxiety... and most people I know who have government weed up here in Canada take it in edible form.

I think it's good to distinguish them because there are games like Genshin Impact that have literally no accessible gameplay without constantly feeding money into the machine. I am also disappointed in the fact that Valve has started

I think it's fair to distinguish gatcha for cosmetics from gatcha for game mechanics - the later is a far worse user experience than the former. But, otherwise, yea I think that's an extremely fair statement - a whole lot of game

I don't think we need to excuse any additional creep of advertising into modern media - we're plenty over-saturated as is.

I'd say to "an acceptable level of moderation" - not perfect. But I agree with that statement if the company is itself profiting from the moderation. I think there's a separate example to be considered when the company

There is a way for the platform to handle that scenario... Manual review. Apple chooses not to rely on manual review and we shouldn't discount this decision of theirs.

If Apple isn't able to police this then maybe it's unhealthy for the market to be completely controlled by them. They make billions off the AppStore and their refusal to reinvest in proper moderation (especially for an app worth

Just to clarify, IANAL, but the "legally obligated to maximize profit" is a misinterpretation of Dodge vs. Ford[1]. It was a very radical decision for the time and hasn't been rescinded but still allows executives a wide deg

I think it's fair to target the board with a large amount of blame as well - but as CEO it's your responsibility... if the decision is going to torpedo the company then refuse to carry it out or leave.

Someone fiscally responsible enough to never need a loan in the first place (either because of higher income or simply from living in more humble needs) will have a lower credit score than someone who did need a loan. That's weird.

The fact that we haven't nationalized credit reporting absolutely baffles me. These companies have so much power over our lives, are completely unaccountable, and are so incredibly incompetent.
