Great. So we have the following: Q. Who ordered neutrinos? A. They're necessary because they carry energy away during beta decay.

“Who ordered that?” is a pretty famous question in particle physics. I think the commenter is just asking “who ordered neutrinos”? It’s a good question, even if it’s not formally rigorous. https://www.aps.org/archives/p

I suggest you take a look at this list of physical constants, paying special attention to the "uncertainty" column, and then get back to us on why you don't accept any of them except the speed of light. https://en.

Since this camera scans 1D lines, rather than 2D frames, I don't think FPS is the right unit of measure. Perhaps 40,000 lines per second is correct?

This is exactly what people who are falling behind would say. They're often the last ones who are aware of the situation. (Just food for thought - not saying you are actually falling behind.)

When I did analysis for a living years ago, we used a subset of Unified Modeling Language (UML) and delivered the result as a Word document containing both the use cases and a class model. That format seems a bit heavy to me now, but the ba

Modeling a system is an under-appreciated skill. In a new domain, however, this should really start with an analysis of the entire problem so as to capture both the static structure of the system (i.e. class model) and its dynamic behavior

I think a model with zero parameters belongs more to math, because it can be derived from first principles. E.g. The surface area of a sphere is 4/3 * pi * r^3, assuming Euclidean space. Physics begins when we have at least one constan
