   I believe Vangelis' brass sounds were played on a Yamaha CS80, although the OB-Xa is capable of similar sounds.

   Tomita's Pictures at an Exhibition is arguably a more distinguished execution of synthesized orchestration than Switched on Bach.

   Harmony in modern music has become homogenous and it's getting worse. I would think the best use case for this is to feed it modern chord progressions in order to inspire musicians (or machines) to avoid using these same harmonic trope

   The instrument blending is unique, but agree that this was utterly underwhelming.
