Procrastination will always find an outlet. You've turned all that off then focused on writing a piece about turning things off - so another outlet appeared almost instantly. Embrace it - there is probably a reason you are not ready to

I find articles like this quite useful for developing my thoughts on algorithms I use - my first reaction when reading was 'could this be applicable to machine learning?'.

Underneath all this is the problem of identity generally. How will someone born today have any hope of any kind of usable identity in a system that allows only one instance of a name.

Apparently it was hourly and Inmarsat calculated two arcs (north and south) which it could have taken, but then focus seems to have moved to the southern one in last few days. I wonder if they flew test flights along both arcs and compared

> It's human nature not to prepare for a theoretical risk That's a substantial generalisation. Some people, especially in software engineering, spend a great deal of their day thinking how best to prepare for theoretical risk.

It's not that binary. Some weeks 60+ hours can be very productive - but it's important to recognise when you're not being productive and take a proper break - I still find that a challenge.

Whilst history is punctuated with previous ponzi schemes, it is also punctuated with periods that required a store of wealth outside of a national currency. I shared the author's view when BTC == $30, I'm tempering that now and st
