Remember The Milk is great. Tried Wunderlist, tried Todoist and always eventually came back to RTM. For me it's the Smart Lists that let me run my own, weird version of GTD ;) Edit: typo

Thanks! Had the same exact problem that annoyed the shit out of me! Turning off the bell in default Putty settings is the first thing I do on a new install.

Little OT but this comment proves to me that HN is the only (if unlikely) place I can read a balanced and calm discussion on somewhat incendiary subjects. It seems to me that every political discussion lately turns into a shitshow instantly

Completely different experience here. N6 worked fine when I bought it about a 1.5y ago, then, when updating, turned on phone encryption (can't be turned off) and it's been a painfully slow ride ever since. Camera's glitchy an

I get that the cost of the developers working with more high-level platforms might be lower and that an SDK in Java-like language probably will be more popular than one in C. It's just that using 512 MB RAM and a quad-core processor fo

That's what I've always wondered. What the hell are those things doing with these resources? I mean if you take a step back and just look at what their purpose is - operating a light switch or reading the temperature - the amount

As far as choosing the right grip goes I remember hearing something about it in a Tim Ferriss podcast with Coach Sommer. Can't recall what it was exactly, sorry. You should check it out, two podcasts with Sommer are pretty lengthy but

I wondered the opposite - will Lumen "looking" at the screen all the time help to drain it?

Well, that's one side of the argument and I get it. However, if you extend it a bit further it might mean that the inability to get a better job justifies you taking one that hurts other people - some of those telemarketers are selling

Probably true. However, those calls usually last couple of minutes tops and I'm always in a good mood afterwards. To me it's more of a IRL equivalent of watching cat gifs to reset your brain every now and then ;) I don't mind

Oh, I love calls from telemarketers ;) It's a sport for me, a fun pass time. I'm trying to sell them shit before they have a chance to finish their pitch. Or I hang up on myself (hangup when I'm speaking) and see how many ti
