This, I just pretty much ended up using the basic LLMChain and do my own custom flow. The built in agents are close to useless for anything but a toy project; it is simply way too unreliable.

Always give good examples in the prompt, preferably a few (2-4). Still not 100% reliable though, especially with models below GPT-4.

Yep, just tested it - Bing chat gave the correct answer, ChatGPT (basic free model) gave the wrong answer (that they weigh the same).

Exactly same experience. ChatGPT is now my go to source for programming problems. It is usually correct (or correct enough) and when it is correct enough it saves a ton of time vs Google search and then going through dozens of StackOverflow

This is the case in my company. My boss reluctantly went to the manager track as it was quite difficult to move up on the SDE track (from the level he was on) but much easier on the manager track.

I use it as an instant StackOverflow for the most part to get around new libraries or libraries/languages I don't use that often. Also generating custom bash one liners or small scripts. It is priceless for this use case. Yeah, so
