Image steganography? It's available to almost anyone, a plain-sight method with an expected amount of natural noise. If you use a small enough payload, it is essentially deniable and undetectable.

I'm reminded of the pg article on PR. Looks like a home-run hit to me. There is a whiff of desperation about it. "If you want to start a great company, you are probably passing through Kleiner." Is this really still true?

1) It's unmaintainable. 2) It's ugly. If you ever need a semantic naming convention for closely related variables that are crucial to use correctly (encryptedCustomerInformation vs decryptedCustomerInformation), make up your own ad hoc.

Before we get too caught up in "what Christians believe" let's point out that it is a big tent religion and the story is much more complicated. Perhaps, as Chesterton said, GP is being "as narrow as the universe". When I read your essay I i

There's so much cool hardware on the way to sense-o-matic virtual reality and the holodeck that I don't think Nintendo has anything to worry about. They are gaining experience even from the relative failures (still early to call it for 3DS

Correct. Sorry if I was obtuse. Neither my father nor I knew about the "shocking event" before reading it. I would call this a spoiler (certainly I would encase it in a spoiler warning before mentioning it online) but I guess you can argue

My dad was reading Game of Thrones and got to a shocking spoiler at the end of book 1 (you can guess which one). He told me he stopped reading the series right there. He probably wouldn't even have begun reading if he knew beforehand. He re

What metric could you come up with that wouldn't be gamed? Other than say, overachieving profit targets. The CEO has a lot of latitude to screw the company for their benefit.

The context is very important (and not appearing in the email, right). The HTC Dream (G1) came out in late 2008. It was running Dalvik then. I think what is more likely is this: Tim Lindholm was asked to figure out how to run standard Java
