Can you tell me more about what you are describing regarding MD Data? I'm unaware of how it went down. But, yeah, these all look so cool.

Did Game Boy really have crisp pixels? It's more of a lattice/grid with both vertical and horizontal "scan" lines. Plus ghosting and bloom.

I felt this way when I was forced to upgrade from IPhone 6s. That was a little different in that with that phone iOS had become too much for the device's limited RAM, and UI concepts meant for the edge-to-edge phones were being forced

Really cool! Makes me weep that most web apps today have a mere fraction of this kind of depth and functionality.

In the games I make I always track positions at a subpixel level and then I can choose whether or not to draw things with that accuracy depending on my needs. I might want a shape to move more smoothly at a sub-pixel level, or round things

This reminded me of the first(?) sub-pixel typeface (by Miha as posted on Typophile in 2009) https://adamnorwood.com/notes/typophile-user-miha-is-doing-s... And the first sub-pixel font Millitext from 2008, as mentione

My favourite thing about Quincy Jones was how he would get himself into a liminal state, somewhere between awake and sleep, to have all his best ideas. He called it the Alpha State. Mentioned here: https://www.clashmusic.com/
