Javascript number type can be used like 32 bit integers for the most part, including bitwise operators and modulus. I agree that pure 32 and 64 bit integers would be nice, though. Especially since I have need for 64 bit bitwise integer math

One based indexing isn't just about getting used to it, it makes lots of things a nightmare. Like index-math that involves the modulo operator, which will result in zero values, which are invalid for 1-based indexing. Or turning a 2D o

In real-time rendering, a lot of innovation and state-of-the-art is published in non-peer-reviewed conference slides by companies, or blog posts by non-academic individuals. These should absolutely be cited if you as a researcher are convin

Looking at Vienna, it feels like the value of real-estate grows faster than what you'd earn by renting. E.g. you'd probably earn 3,000€ netto per year from a 200,000€ property, but it's value also rises by 4,000€ in the same

I'd count anyone who wields trivial patents, or patents where previous work exixts and which should not have been granted in the first place, a patent troll too.

Safari doesn't support WebGL2 and probably never will because of Apple's stance on OpenGL. Disqualifies it for me and I've had to tell customers that I can't support it, even if they'd pay for it.

It removes enough characters to turn it from unreadable mess to legible code. Point is mainly to remove the 3 completely unnecessary parameters, doesn't matter if it's called transform or map.
