Is Anki a trademark? If someone wants to make a tool called AnkiSuper, is that allowed? I'm not a big fan of the UI/UX. So I am thinking of scratching an itch.

Could someone please post tool names as well? Everyone is talking processes. But I would love to know more convenient tools as well.

Just a note: Chandrayaan-2 has Muthyya Vanitha as Project Director and Ritu Karidhal as Mission Director. This is the first time in ISRO a woman is a Project Director. According to ISRO Chairman - 30% of team are women. https://

No organization had ever put an orbiter around Mars in their first try. Until Mars Orbiter Mission of ISRO in 2014. I wouldn't rule them out. ;) https://www.isro.gov.in/mars-orbiter-mission-completes-1000-...

I would love to have something like this for a research group. But that is too steep a pricing!

So, looks like Julia would be an easier transition for a lot of academic scientists. What am I missing? I mostly use R and Python. Can anyone tell me briefly why I should use Julia over Python?

Nice! Are there any open source or cheaper alternatives to these? At $39 a month, this is more expensive than Microsoft Office! For students, that is almost impossible to cough up for intermittent usage.

My heart almost skipped a beat thinking it was Anki SRS. Infinitely more useful than another VC vaporware.

In my opinion, if only 10% of your students downloaded the app, that means you never had significant traction outside western countries. Mobile traffic is through the roof for developing Countries, often the only device owned by a learner.
