It doesn't really eat the nuclear waste, it "just" feeds on the radioactive energi, so it doesn't speed up the decay. But you can use them as a radiation shield.

The iPhone sales figures where probably a disappointment, for Apple. Had it been released by any other company it would have been viewed as a huge success. The sales numbers are just pretty poor, for an iPhone. I think Apple has such high e

There are 80 million Germans. If you where OpenAI, or it's shareholders, would you leave that market open for a competitor? No, you'd make a version of your product without the lyrics. More EU countries are going to follow and rea

Other countries are currently going through the same. KODA is running a similar lawsuit on behalf of the Danish musicians, they can now point to Germany as an example, making it much easier for them to win.

Just because you can find them freely online doesn't make them public in the legal sense. If that was the case music piracy would also be legal.

With $400B you should be able to do pretty much anything you set your mind on. Want to do to Mars, not a problem. End world hunger, $400B will do that in about ten years. You can do ANYTHING with $400B, yet OpenAI want's to sell erotic

Here AI is more like a magic solution to stretch the employees you have. I don't know a single person who has been replaced by AI, but plenty of companies and government office hopes to be able to get more work done fast with AI. I dou

I would recommend trying Ecosia, their search have become really good. Better than DuckDuckGo, Bing and Google to be honest. They use a mix of Bing, Google and a few other things, most recently their own index which they collaborate on with

That's probably the solution: You can run a social media, but you have to do it ad free. Charge people if you need to, but you cannot run ads. What fucks up social media is the constant need to "engagement".

Even if you're half-joking, there's a very real point to this. It's really not solving the problem. It's moving it very so slightly down the line. I'm not entirely sure how I'd want to word it, but it would be

That probably depends on your definition of a scam, but it seems fairly low. Many products and services advertised online just skirts the border of being scams or fraud.
