If you just need a single scan every now and then and have an old scanner, I can see this being handy. Installing Linux, battling Windows drivers or buying Vuescan (great as it is) might be enough to make most just give up and take a photo

The boss man got a few of us Kagi gift-subscriptions/credits earlier this year, after we've been taking about wanting to try it. Before that I used Ecosia, which I also considered pretty good, but Kagi and everything else it just

This might be my understanding that's wrong, but I assumed that the LLM itself actually can't produce like a UUID, but it can "predict" one, hence why it sometimes hallucinate IDs. So my thinking was, strip that bit out

Except that we don't yet know what would need in all cases, this seems like something that should be provided by the environment. It feels much like the random number generators in your operating system. The OS is responsible for provi

Can someone explain why this would even be needed? Why is there a cost to generating say an UUIDv4? E.g. Claude Code has some regex in the client side code that filters out "bad words", so why can't the agent just generate UU

From my experience with package delivery I can tell you this is not how it works. Press the button, door doesn't open that instance, ergo no one is home. My home office is in the other end of the house, it takes ~20-30 seconds for me t

We might not be AI/agent enough for this product. I wondered about that as well, but it's not actually a grep problem, it's an ingest problem for agents. Apparently some agents use grep to navigate code and it's this &qu

Why would they do it like this? It makes no real sense to me. At that point it's an entirely different project, with the same functionality. If you use Bun in production, does this feel like a well managed upstream? I don't use Bu
