- tehjoker 5mo agoFor what it's worth, this happens every time there is a new technological innovation. Are human brains hydraulic systems? Are humans just a computer? Are they an LLM? These technologies give some insight, but the answer is always not really. It would be good if we studied actual human brains in some detail if we want to know these answers.

- DangitBobby 5mo agoWho is coordinating this effort?
- akomtu 5mo agoWhoever profits from it.
- Gooblebrai 5mo ago> it degrades the idea of human consciousness or soul, calling it a fiction I guess they usually mean that is fiction the part of the story where is said that it is separated from the brain
- 1718627440 5mo agoIt kind of needs to be separate, otherwise it is just consciousness.
- joquarky 5mo agoHow can something inexplicable like consciousness be considered "degraded"?
