The "hero" phrase is fine. It just refers to the devs doing 80% of the work.

The "disposable entities" part reminds me of sprints where everything is broken down into 2-3 week chunks. A deliverable is expected in that time. It can be a tiny part or bigger part but must be a complete "thing" with

The "hero" phrase refers to the devs doing 80% of the commits. Have you found projects where work is spread thinly across many developers successful?

Who designs the project and "correctly" divides it? Some hero?

Leave out the "one language only (Python)" part and it would be fine. Otherwise it's clickbait.

Just take out the "one language only (Python)" part. What's wrong with simply "Reahl 4.0: Build web apps in Python". It's clear and truthful.

The early 90's is right. They had that great GUI and plug-n-play to themselves for years, but still managed to almost go under.

Recent history reparations wouldn't be absurd. For instance, the US should start with the American Indians and then the African slave trade.

I think reparations are the way to go.

I was and I stand corrected. I was trying to address the idea that since the US did bad things in the past, it's ok for other nations to do them too.

Yeah they shouldn't follow that history. The US also had slavery.

Certain jobs aren’t as valued as others. Hence less pay and benefits. Is there something unethical about that?

But religion asks you to believe in something there’s no evidence for. To commit your life to it. Then when challenged, it asks that you disprove it.

Why is it short-sighted to say if inequality or laws that cause inequality are removed, then societal ills will be fixed? If we can make laws that cause ills then we can remove those laws and their ills.

I like the writing from Paul Krugman. He tries to explain systemic reasons for inequality.

I agree. If you have someone who shows mastery in one area, you see what level they can attain. With a generalist (assuming no mastery), it's a gamble. They might not be able to master anything.
