The 'fixes' aka hacks aren't that difficult. The problem is it makes everything so brittle and people tend to do things the shitty route just to support IE. Maybe it was the last changes to fix IE6...but I actually looked up browser percent

Bell/Rogers have horrible cell phone pricing. Before the iPhone came to Canada about 6 months ago, they were charging 30$ per month for 5 megs of data usage. In 2008. Why? Because Blackberry users here are mostly corporate users that don'

This stat is accurate for applying >10 years ago. Never stay at a crappy job so it appears 'better' on your resume, when I am hiring I look only at what you worked on. Many candidates of higher caliber I interviewed bounced around.

Tapes went well beyond what you are giving them credit for - the mixtape scene in rap pre-released compilations of hits and were massively popular. Many artists claim they went the equivalent of platinum on mixtapes in NY alone. The distr

Clearly a technology is not to blame, or Google would be at fault for linking to them as well. But using torrents the 'wrong' way? File sharing is legal in Sweden, which is why they have been able to operate for this long in a very transpa

Carleton or UofO? Are you in the co-op program or looking for a general summer position? Startups tend not to hire co-ops, because they cannot afford the risk of getting a dud. I worked for a term at a startup and it actually was very dif

Being Canadian...I recommend PC Financial. Their high interest savings is great, and no fees! With 2 mil, I would personally: -Buy a place to live in the 400k range. Housing is probably overpriced right now, but generally speaking the Can

Listen to Kanye's last album - Graduation. It entered my top 5 favorite rap album list, and I listen to a lot of rap. Maybe even number 1. It is like a Pink Floyd album in terms of continual flow and quality, and I don't say that lightly.

Being a connoisseur of rap... Eminem is a very talented rapper and was incredibly clever with his lyrics. Many of his lyrics including the one you quoted are meant to be satirical of generic rap lyrics. Take the whole song 'Just Lose it' w

I think it would be preferable to do both. Have a few really solid and well contained modules that are well tested. Testing is only a piece.

One of the simplest but most complex religious concepts is hats. Christians say no hats for men, hats for women, but special men can wear special hats. Jews say no hats for women, but hats for men. That is the tip of the iceberg, hats pla
