Likewise, I've run it on hundreds of machines over the past three years without issue. I do continue to use EXT4 for database hosts as it far outperforms BTRFS with PostgreSQL from what I've seen.

Such a relief, I'm so sick of all these dreadful javascript 'apps', not a single one of them performs like a native app on any platform I've used.

This isn't titled correctly, the store isn't 'down' as the title suggests in a way in which it crashed or there is some big problem. The chances are this is just a part of the process of a regular mid-term product refres

Well done guys/gals, any product that helps abstract or attempts to prevent vendor lock-in has my vote. Great work as always HC.

Life is not black and white, how you feel about something isn't terrible or brilliant every time. This is idiotic.

I'm a sucker for getting lots of gadgets and then shelving them, the switch is the first game console / handheld I actually genuinely appreciate both for its quality and for its marvellous simplicity since the game boy advanced, i

For anything even slightly useful with a half decent display I was still looking at USD $200+ per unit and many wouldn't supply just one.

I've been doing a lot of research on this recently including contacting Chinese wholesellers to see what individual parts would cost. Essentially all I'm after is a Linux (not android) based 7-12" eink tablet with touch scree

Likewise, last year it was noted at certain points in time it was very clear that target campaigns run by or for Microsoft on Reddit and HN were working to down/up-vote specific posts and write replies in their favour. The results and

I would say they are purely sales focus and any remaining energy / time is spent saving face and convincing C(E/I)Os they're not just the best option, they're the only option.

Other than some of the weird licensing I've heard (by know very little) about, I love so much about ARM / RISC based systems but the one thing I find myself needing is higher single core clock speeds, not just on ARM but on x86 as

I highly doubt that, the yammer, SharePoint, onedrive, O365 etc... integration is abysmal and every product seems to get worse as they seem to tie them together with silly string behind the scenes.

You mention onedrive, funny (perhaps not) story: I've seen 5~ situations at different organisations where malware in the form of cryptolocker spreads through onedrive destroying everyone's files and connected computers more often

You can't just fire someone on the spot, perhaps in Russia or China I'm guessing, but you have employee and human rights laws protecting you from things like that. You'd have to do some sort of criminal / sexual offence
