It's probably not you, it's just badly structured legacy code, and you're trying to understand it all like you wrote it. Been there, it sucks. Find someone who worked on it and have them explain it to you like you're a 5

Trying to be objective, isn't downsizing what all tech companies are doing? There's a lot of PR mismanagement here, but it seems to be in line with the rest for the moment (leaving aside EM bs). And Twitter is no Meta. There are n

He's not spending it, but he invested it. So the money is still growing. Virtuous would be to just give the money away to those he loved or needed that money (I'm not saying he should do that, I'm just following your logic).

Is this a good thread to recommend the movie "The Man From Earth"? Awesome sci-fi about living forever, made with just a bunch of people talking in a small room.

My father in law is one of those. He has more money than he can spend until he dies even if he raised his standard of living 10 times. Yet he refuses to spend it, and would rather be cold during winter than turning up the heater. I don'

Nice approach. It looks like social facilitation is becoming a widespread solution now that remote working is widespread. I started using Focusmate[0] last week and found it incredibly useful. You can schedule a 25/50 minutes session,
