That is still better for society than not having the economic activity. What exactly is the benefit of wholly depriving the putative worker of a job vs. making up the difference with something like food stamps and Medicaid?

iPad Pros for non-business use may be luxury devices, but the 'regular' iPad is down to $329 now, solidly low end- especially now that iPad OS has mouse support built in and Safari supports requesting desktop mode pages.

The problem, of course, is survivorship bias. Its similar to Monarchy vs Democracy. A great monarch can get a lot more done than a leader in a democracy. They can also do a lot more harm. If you want to maximize the potential of a company,

If you drop the 3 vacations abroad and the 'new' appellation to the car, then 1/2 of the people in the US can reasonably aspire to the rest of that with hard work and self discipline.

The main problem is most of the livable land is concentrated in the ‘wasatch front’ mountain range, and the valleys running north south along it. This keeps the available developable land within drivable distance permanently constrained.

You're pointing to instances where snaps aren't involved- kinda missing the point. Just because there are other ways to get the desired result, the optimal path used by most people is seriously impaired for no benefit.

They haven’t clarified if Docker is ARM all the way down or if they are using QEMU to emulate x86 somewhere on the stack.
