Absolutely. They'll never be able to experiment with a platform that Visual Studio doesn't support. Or with the many fine languages that don't have a fancy IDE. They will artificially limit their career and opportunities based on a tool.

In C with it's lack of exceptions, goto can be used to jump unconditionally to cleanup code before exiting a function. This is far cleaner than every branch and loop following a call needing explicit instructions to check for error status

Krugman's main point is that giving more money to rich people isn't necessarily going to stimulate growth because they are already sitting on lots of money. Your link there goes off on a tangent about government spending and taxes instead o

Sounds nice but look at the history of business. Laissez faire was attempted and didn't work out so great. Sometimes there need to be rules and they need to be applied evenly so nobody has an advantage that others don't. If one business has

God, I hope so. If there is any industry more deserving of a disruption, it's the fumbling, backwards telcoms. Sadly, it requires so much money to fight them that whatever replaces the telcoms might only be slightly better. I will take that

Logging in Django is meant more for writing out application logs, which can be seriously useful for support purposes. But in no way is anybody suggesting writing an access log to the database using django, it's not what it's designed for.
