I don't have recent data but I'd guess most startups would have been dead for several years, not on series B.

That makes a lot more sense. I was trying to figure out how you take the time to write an entire book but then throw together a short blog full of grammar mistakes to promote it.

I can think of some counter examples. Golf is a big one. I have friends that play every weekend and never get better.

There is 0% chance this article is correct. No employees at facebook had access to passwords for obvious reasons. Someone is trying to sell a book.

It is really sad to me to see a comment so naive and uninformed get upvoted on this site. Besides just flat out false information such as being a shortage of use cases for incentivized distributed consensus you go on to assume we have even

10% return investing into a company doesn't even sound as crazy as 10% return on a savings account.

That statement was to show why there is room to increase hash rate and not how you'd defend against a 51% attack. Most of the miners in the US are not mining for a significant portion of the day.

That is correct but I don't see why you are pointing it out.

I'm not sure about that. Most miner operations in the US run only a fraction of the day to take advantage of electrical savings that a lot of operations in China wouldn't be doing. So if miners started returning higher yields we w

There really isn't. Peeing in a bottle has been going on for decades in UPS/FedEX. Actually pooping in your truck and putting all of your customers at risk of disease so you can meet your quota is not sane human behavior.
