While I generally agree and would avoid airline investments personally, the airlines did just spend their profits for years on dividends and stock buybacks. If you don’t save for a rainy day, then it’s not too surprising you run out during

Even if you run the CI on your own network, if it can't check out from Github it isn't going to have the latest code unless you're hosting your own repos for CI. Developers will need to push their changes to CI Git in additio

Sure you can do some work locally but if your CI server can't check out the branch to build it and you can't approve pull requests for merge, then its a bit limiting.

Of course it’s up for debate. Everyone thought Amazon would win the contract because they had such a lead in cloud services until Trump got involved as part of his personal vendetta with Bezos for the Washington Post

One day later here is a huge NYTimes piece about how the employees were pushing hard for the public offering for years and it caused tensions: https://www.nytimes.com/2019/09/20/technology/airbnb-employe.

There have been articles since at least mid 2018 talking about how Airbnb doesn’t need additional money and how it was taking steps to prepare for going public before early employee equity grants expired in 2020. After they reworked how the
