Of course there are quantum computers. They are 50-100 qubits, currently.

what c++ coro library are you using, folly? i use that and it makes async programming trivial, relative to callback style programming.

Could this just be a bias of our ability to comprehend complexity? Humans are finitely intelligent. We cannot comprehend less symmetric systems. This may lead to publication bias. Less symmetric systems that defy human reasoning are assoc

There are more complex models than the one you described. That query / item tower is cheap and cache-friendly. These tend to be used for high recall. You can echew those performance benefits in favor of neural networks that allow for

I enjoyed D&F. Worked through up until Ring theory. One thing I would suggest is find suggested problems based on a university course. Since some consecutive problems can be similar, you don't get as good of ROI as you would spen

Why not? People who know languages to write CRUD may have different professional preferences to people who know Lisp. If we are okay with stereotyping programming languages, is it not fair to stereotype people who are fluent in said program

Depends on what you are working on? Cross-request cache's naturally require synchronization. Although you could simply get away with thread-local storage. In huge systems, there's always some other thread doing stuff that you may

Ray is awesome and magical. You can build really ergonomic distributed programs that are small wrappers around python classes. I would prefer this to multiprocessing even if you are only on a single host.

I doubt RL is involved. That would be soooo risky. Bidding algorithms can model the price of winning the auction, you can maximize profit without fancy RL
