Can you explain to me the issue with it being too wide? I may not be understanding it, because I just maximized the window and I don't see any issue, really.

I have no issues whatsoever with the width/layout issues, but the expires links... yes.

It absolutely is a factor, which is why I cautioned about a uniform, random sampling. Selection bias implies non-uniformity, and 10, 100, or 1000 samples won't fix selection bias since it is, by definition, non-uniform across the inte

Mathematically, 10 is generally considered enough to make broad conclusions, more is always better though. OTOH, that assumes a fairly uniform random sampling. The reason more is better is because it helps leverage against the non-uniform

Just a good alternative, I'm willing to pay, I just get scared sometimes that I'm going to lose out on quality by moving away from gmail. But the more time goes on, the more I hate the interface changes to gmail, and IMAP to my lo

If I could find a good alternative to gmail, I'd take it in a second. Over the years, I've really started to dislike gmail, and most of google's services.

When you test with mocks, most of the time you're not testing reality, you're testing your theory of reality. Think of it like this: How many times have you deployed an app in production, or against production data, only to have

It's only sensible if you don't think too hard on it. The point is similar to DHH's point, in that a process (in this case TDD) doesn't magically give you good design. Neither does following SOLID, understanding the Law

So many people are not aware of this option. I've done it 2-3 times in my life, generally because a company thinks they're going to jerk me around. One was an ACH that came from nowhere (still no idea how that happened, and the
