The original posting (as best I can tell), which has additional information, is at the following site - http://boardingarea.com/blogs/flyingwithfish/2009/12/27/tsa-... This blog appears to have just repeated what was posted there.

Inc and Fast Company at the moment. They are usually a mixed bag of good and not so good. For the price though ($12/year) they're tough to beat for decent on-the-go reading.

The payment for most of the tasks on Mechanical Turk and other things like it is just not worth the time for almost any task I've seen. While that may be true for you, there are plenty of places across the globe where $1 (with a chance of

Judging by the number of people here who've noticed it in their friends I'd say it's probably due to malware. Take a look at the font of "facebook" in the images and compare with the header bar - 2 distinctly different fonts. Edit: Also not

Step 4, most importantly, should be to verify those backups on a regular basis. All too often, people lose data due to a failure and then a backup which was failing or corrupted.

Also, if you don't regularly test backups they might as well not exist.

My wild speculation would be that (related to tc 's above) it's a mutual "you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours" with the DOJ. I'd be surprised if there weren't regulations in place which required them to keep the data for that long.

Attempts to improve the internet as a whole may not directly benefit Google, but as an internet company, they will almost certainly indirectly benefit them. A rising tide lifts all boats.

It's interesting that although this list seems a little vague, other than "iPhone" I'd argue that this would have been just as accurate 10 years ago. Does anyone know if the BOS talks are going to be available online?
