Mea culpa: a few hours after I posted this comment, I got my "Your Leap Motion order has shipped!" email.

Too bad a lot of people who pre-ordered via Kickstarter haven't even gotten their shipping confirmations yet.

For once, AT&T acquiring another company might actually result in improved service for the customers. I say this as a 2-time former Cricket customer (once with a phone, once with a 3G hotspot) in a major metropolitan area. Wonder if the

I stopped using Firefox and switched to Chrome when, even on an x86 Mac, I could see the browser's UI redraw itself. Not going back at this point.

I learned that I'd been ghostbanned for over a year when someone finally contacted me off-site and let me know. I figured out which comment it was, emailed info@ with an explanation (that it was actually complimentary and relevant to

Still not moving back from Android (love my Nexus 4, 7, and 10) but this will be nice to play with on the iPad Mini I picked up a couple of weeks ago so I can stay current on iOS and help Mom with stuff remotely. It's interesting to se

Out of 56 projects backed over the past two years, so far, yes. Nobody has outright "taken the money and run" (yet), and even on the long-delayed projects, semi-regular updates kept people satisfied. My biggest complaint is the lack of a b

I've found that the more over-funded a Kickstarter project is, the higher the probability that delivery of perks and products will be delayed or have problems. In my experience over the past two years, I've seen a number of projects that I

Yep, had an iMac G5 with this problem. Apple shipped me an entire replacement system board assembly. Later they started having people take them into Apple Stores for the repair. http://www.flickr.com/photos/mrbill/62059256

Most likely they have zero interest in any kind of "partnership", and you're far from the first one to ask. Think of how many similar requests they've had to field..

I've given away 10-12 complete CAH sets to friends. Not a single person has said "oh that game is boring", and more than one of them has come back later and told me it was their favorite birthday/Christmas present, etc. It's also a great w

I've got images of Coherent install media and a PDF of the (really awesome) manual. It was a great "UNIX" for people who couldn't afford a real AT&T distribution, before Linux came on the scene.

Disagree. My first SLR (and still my only "really good" camera) is a well-used original Canon Digital Rebel with 18-55 kit lens that I bought off a friend for $100, then added some accessories and a 50mm lens. My entire setup cost less th

Loved my Wakemate, but have since moved to all-Android. Are there any decent equivalents to the Zeo/Wakemate that work with Android phones and are still in business?

I highly dislike manipulative posts like this. They don't mention that the Speak for Yourself founders are ex-employees of the other company. It's presented very one-sided and in an "OOH FEEL SORRY FOR OUR DAUGHTER" way.
