Right. Price should determine what one buys. There is a marginal performance bump between them for the same advertised TDP, and so suppose if price is the same then next gen it is. Otherwise buy what is cheapest.

TDP reduction = heat management = reliability management but mostly noise management. I've never tried to water cool a 125 watt processor and so I can't speak to that. But especially if one uses air cooling or ideally passive cool

Look at the i3. Though it isn't much different than last gen, and that buying decision should be mostly determined by price (for the same price, go later). Unless there are significant enough non-speed related architecture differences

I consider price and TDP as the two important variables, for performance, that aren't completely reconcilable. They should be considered separately, and then together for a buying decision for example. To illustrate and acknowledging t

Definitely have to adjust for TDP. The new gen Intel processors match the M2 performance for $100-150. TDP is triple but still relatively low. There isn't really anything available from non-niche retailers that approaches the TDP of Ap

What is your legal reasoning for a lesser clearance significantly reducing the severity of the breach? Petraeus was charged because of the severity of the breach. If the breach wasn't severe, someone like Petraeus would not be charged.

David Petraeus shared some of the most classified docs in the government with his lover and biographer, which is a top crime. He got a slap on the wrist. DC trades on classified info leaks. I'm unsure specifically what this officer had

This isn't necessarily the win that some people think that it is. Do you like your standard of living? For most, you should when compared. That comes from one type of economy. This is another type, incoming. And there are no guarantees

The article uses strange language to couch the results. Making an error isn't solving a problem at all. It should read that higher IQ leads to more reliable problem solving. Which would be less click-baity, admittedly. I understand why

Of course it doesn't work. Homelessness is caused almost entirely by cultural factors that are getting worse. Therefore, homelessness has been and will continue to get worse. Stop comparing the United States to small European States. T

That's not right in my estimation. The correction would be that there are lots of famous people that you don't hate, but that plenty of other people do. Your simple bias is that you assume that your hatreds and who you give passes

As someone who is 100% indifferent to Bezos I can offer some objectivity. I suspect most people are indifferent to Bezos and most other ultra-wealthy men. No matter who you are and what you do, if you are in the limelight and/or have m
