I always thought Quebec was an odd name for a village located in County Durham. Pretty sure there's a California near Crook, too. Muggleswick near Consett is a good one. And then over in Northumberland there's Once Brewed, Twice B

But this isn’t paranormal. Fortean TV was, admittedly, fun but silly fun nonetheless.

Never thought I’d see my part of the world on here; used to drive through Weston under Lizard every day. Some good place names in Shropshire, too, but Durham has my favourite with No Place and Pity Me.

In the 90s in the UK, school kids like me used Acorn Archimedes and related systems in school. Then on leaving school we went into workplaces or universities where Windows based PCs were dominant. Schools need to use and teach the technolog

Oh great; looking forward to trying them. For obvious reasons, I've hardly been anywhere for around 10 months now so I haven't come across any Polar chargers yet.

Handelsbanken is a mixed bag in the UK and depends very much on both your local branch and your expectations.

You didn’t look at Nationwide or the other handful of building societies that offer current accounts? Or Triodos if you want to go the full way.

My experience has been different. Electric Highway (Ecotricity) has a high rate of broken chargers. When you find one, they seem to charge a minimum fee of £12 regardless of how much you use. Most chargers are slow. Either 7kw or 11kw is co

I hadn't thought about Yellow Dog Linux in years until seeing this. Discontinued in 2012, which is understandable after Apple's switch to Intel.

If the current government want to kill it completely why have the ruled out decriminalising non-payment of the licence fee? There are pretty strong ethical reasons for why you shouldn't get a criminal record and, possibly, face prison
