You lack imagination :) what I find hard to imagine is many teams going back and forth between microservices in go, java, python because of memory consumption. Besides, every decent Java dev knows that it's a memory hog, comparing to m

In the literature there are several degrees of emptiness, but emptiness is something that you "find" as you progress through the path. People make this mistake where they think the quest for emptiness where one does not feel anyth

Basically you find someone who is wiser than you and learn from them. Repeat. How do identify that person? Really depends on what kind of wisdom you are after.

Also beg to disagree. The most important skill you can cultivate is wisdom. How you cultivate it is another story, though.

The information is on the right place I guess but the site's first impression conveys to me that it is an academy for training monastics. Just one data point, but I would change the domain to something like spiritual academy. Kudos for

I commend you guys to work on a donation basis; also it's important to have someone with training (a former monk?) as the teacher. Personally, what I find confusing about the website is that it conveys a feeling of a Buddhist monastery

May I ask why specifically mindfulness? I find that concentration practice is far more beneficial to hacking, and it also leads to mindfulness. Example: with sufficient concentration power, one can easily code on a noisy open space without

This is what you need to do. Find someone to guide you and follow through the advice. I already did something similar for my friend who used to work in a music shop.

Seems like survivor bias to me. To this day I still find out some stuff about how I grew up that I didn't know at the time; maybe your mum had other concerns she didn't bother to share with you...?

I've read somewhere that cow milk accelerates growth in the first few years but the other children will eventually catch up. We would need a longer study to validated this.

There are alot of meditation techniques and meditation practices. Most of them revolve around the idea of using the thinking mind, the analytical process, to gain insight about something. If you do orthodox meditation, you should know there

Depends on what is expected of you, as well as your margin for manoeuvre. Some seniors are supposed to do one feature and then guide the juniors to replicate that feature, others will have more responsibility, etc. If you are the bridge bet

It helps that network boundary typically becomes responsibility boundary (different teams)... in the end disciplined devs will make it work anywhere, anyhow. Its a matter of making it work with the cards you have.
