We're in agreement. I was just saying I don't support 3rd parties scraping my data so as they just get yours and not mine then have at it!

I agree that that is what the word and phrase means, however in THIS context, it means something different. It doesn't ruin the idea if the idea is to share that it has easter eggs. If they didn't create, share and "ruin"

I think they we're just defining what Easter egg meant in this context. The fact that it has an "Easter egg," in this context, is more of a more meta nod, rather than it being a hidden thing you have to find, since that is a

I guess that was my point, YOU are free to export your data and post it on the internet, but don't make everyone (me) do the same.

If everyone has access to your data it becomes even more worthless and you will definitely not get aid for it. At least now I can keep it somewhere and they can use it to fund engineers to keep the service up, lawyers to make sure your data

Selling data inside their walled garden in a way I am OK with in exchange for a free service. Not a 3rd party selling my information to a scam farm in a foreign land that has no laws that will use all of that information to extract money fr

I think most users don't want their data to be used by anyone and everyone. I sure don't. If one user needs access to their own data, they can always export it and take it where they please. For most people the dangers of openness

I'd point to Wikipedia. You can say the content is "wrong". But the links go to the right place.

People in this thread saying that this is the kind of content kids like should go on tiktok for a sec. This is not at all what young people watch, it's just bad content, and misunderstanding that feels out of touch.

In this situation, humans are more accurate, for now, so it's good information to have. Same as I would like to know if humans self assessed in a study about how well they drive vs the empirical evidence. Humans just aren't that g

I agree. The sibling responses also give some insight into why a lot of people don't get a lot of value out of coding agents.

As things tend toward commodity (e.g. one item being replaceable with another with not much, or no, difference) the thing that matters most is brand. So to the contrary, ChatGPT has the ONLY moat so far. 5.8B page visits vs 148m and growing

I really hope this doesn't catch on. Having ever random site on the internet being able to see every bit of my data sounds like a nightmare. Unless I am misunderstanding something.

You're assuming a ~5% conversion rate and usage/payment in perpetuity. Those are just unrealistic assumptions, based on my experience in this space. Everything breaks. - Channel makes no money because sponsors don't pay (as

Neither the GP or this comment are viable in the real world. Businesses/creators need continued distribution, see Nike as an example of what happens when you "take your audience elsewhere to monetize them better/more." 1
