Is this really containerization as we know it, like Docker? To me, Android and alike just have a good separation between processes. This is, of course, the core of linux containers. But I don't need to deploy a system image to run an A

There is nothing wrong in examining this carefully. And, besides the fact that the money could be applied elsewhere, private enterprises are pursuing this.

Considering the investment you'll need to make in antenas, equipments and such, unless you live in a poor coverage area, you'll be better with a 4G.

Very interesting project. I got curious why you decided to use a one-level namespace. A multi-level namespace guarantees that if I manage to build a strong brand, I can continue to use it, creating sub-domains. The alternative being people

Balloons are made to be carried away by wind. If you want to keep something stationary in the air, better find a aerodynamic shape. One that can keeps its orientation in the air is better yet.

Project management is pretty f * hard. People are not computers, time won't run backwards and money don't grow on trees. Organizations won't wait cooperatively for you (as CEO) to implement your project and your vision.

Coming from a low bandwidth, high latency part of the world, I can't confirm this enough. Today, I have 2 mbit and can use Netflix or Youtube just fine, but mere 4 years ago, I had 600k and, boy, that was hard. Hard as in loading youtu

Greatest problem is copying data in and out kernel-space to user-space. This causes huge traffic on RAM and trashes caches all along the way.

We have a Linux distributing organizing programs in a different way: Android. It seems to be working pretty good, actually, with compartmentalization and tight security.
