I fear the release the this new Nexus Player portends we're not going to see an update to the Chromecast anytime soon, if ever. That makes me sad. I guess I'm just not the average user, but the Chromecast handily beats what this (

I'm not really sure what you're implying... We need better enforcement? We try to do that by writing laws and issuing tickets. And, again, poor driving is still a problem. How about we FORCE people to drive defensively? That sure

But the gauge for success shouldn't be whether it handles every situation better than humans, it should be whether the use of these tools leads to a lower rate of accidents/injuries/deaths. Just pointing out that there might

Am I the only one that is rubbed the wrong way by this "recurring revenue" phrase? It seems like a fancy way saying, "I wish I was rich." Why not just say that?

I am happy that the days of needing a watch are behind me. I think the primary annoyance centered around the fact that I'm left-handed. Since I'm left-handed, I only really have the coordination to strap a watch using my left hand

Anecdotal: the PC and laptop I bought around the time tablets started coming out are starting to show their age. So now I'm in the market for their replacements. Could a factor be the fact that the age of the tablet market currently eq

This is cool and all, but I can't help but be reminded of the hunt for Boston Marathon bombers. Sure, maybe the author's heart is in the right place, but Random Person On The Internet could easily have gotten something wrong, that

While this data is interesting enough on its own, the map animations are even cooler. The transitions from one location pair to the next are mesmerizing, and can provide some really cool perspectives of the globe. Great execution on that.

What's also interesting is there seems to be a desire in the fanbase for Marvel Studios to have more control over Marvel properties. I get the impression from comments in reddit posts and Slashfilm (which might not be an accurate bar

It is so amazing to watch the attention that people give Apple's business decisions. Seriously, how much their actions get read into is unparalleled. Any other company, we'd just say "yup, they bought a headphone company, and

I don't think that applies. Isn't the point (or one of the main points) of building more roads to make traffic congestion better? The study in this article shows that that doesn't pan out.

Well, sure, the article doesn't fully describe the intricacies of the situation... but neither do your anecdotes. But nevertheless, the study mentioned in the article does show that building more roads does not make traffic better: >

The inert-ness you're referring doesn't really apply in a world where all this digital content is streamed from servers in the cloud. The infrastructure to provide that steaming content must be maintained.
