I have no idea why Rajat Khare, the co-founder of Appin, an India-based tech company would campaign to erase his name from news outlets. He was allegedly into shady things.

Let's face it-- there's a war going on against encryption by governments all around the world. Shifting public opinion is part of that war campaign. "Think of the children!" is a classic argument when you have an agenda

Strange question... if something works over the public internet why would it not work locally? There's no magic sauce with HTMX. It's just a JavaScript library that does what a million others do. You can run it on a local toaster

What are the impacts HTMX has on SEO/crawlability? I can't imagine doing XHR requests that return partial HTML snippets to be "good" for a crawler that expects one page to link to another (assuming they are running JS to

I tried Obsidian for a while and the whole "second brain-thingy" until I watched a video about complex procrastination (basically, using tools like Obsidian as a means of not doing actual work). https://www.youtube.com&

Can you not "lock down" a smart phone to emergency calls + whitelist of numbers (mom, dad, etc)? I'd prefer my kids to keep their phone, but only able to contact me during school hours (otherwise the device is as useful as a

Sounds like you have your priorities straight? Do what makes you happy and to hell with everyone (and everything) else. You don't need to sound interesting or have things to talk about. If you're finding you are not "happy&qu

I only experience "slow down/freeze up" with Windows and to a lesser extent, Mac based operating systems. I have never felt that way with a Linux install.

Ebiten (Go package) compiles for all OSes, Switch and web via Wasm as well. The binaries are little fat but it's really nice :)

I have considered: 1) Adding a credit card after sign up as part of the flow. 2) Adding a mobile number and verifying via SMS. I don't particularly want to do either as it's more friction up front for everyone... but seems like it
