Alex, I wouldn't be worried of the app harming someone so much as someone hurting themselves and their family blaming it on you or your app in a search for a cause of their loved one's suicide. Add in a lawyer who smells a case, and you cou

An idea would be to separate the history push from the loading of the resources, and only push history after an action that denotes the user has found the result they were looking for (blur of input, pressing enter, etc) to avoid a search h

I got no feedback whatsoever from taking that - it just said "thank you taking the test!" without any results. Disappointing.

Just my opinion, but I too didn't know what voxatron was until I played the video (which was great, by the way). I know what the Humble Bundle is, but I think what threw me off is that I usually hear it referred to as "the humble indie bun

I think it's due to the two sides of the argument - one is that the proposed trademark is infringing, the other is that the current trademark is being used. Defending it in court every time is a way of supporting the 2nd side of the argume

I think the hardest part would be trying to discern intent just from someone up-voting one of these honeypot articles, given the loose definition of what's considered on-topic here. You'd be stuck between being subtle and catching false-po

Anyone else immediately think of those floating orbs from half-life 2? I'm imagining the U.S. military will be developing something similar if it hasn't already - the use cases just seem too extensive. I mean, something like that could fl

Agreeing with everyone regarding the overuse of clouds, but here's a simple idea to mitigate that: incorporate those progressively larger bubbles that would appear beneath a "thought cloud" in a comic or illustration. That way there would

What would you think of this idea: offer 2 tiers of competition: Tier 1 for Junior designers - design the full logo for competition, winner gets full payment. Ideal for building a portfolio of logo designing capabilities, gaining exposure

I was watching some police documentary show a long time ago - and it was either the FBI or the police that needed a murder suspect's DNA - they brought him in for questioning, and asked him for a sample, and he declined. They had pretty co

Did you do anything extra to see that price? Or was that simply what Amazon displayed when you went to view it?

I see Kindle price as $16.99, but that's still pretty ludicrous for a digital copy given the hardcover sale price...
