We'd need an answer from gitlab, but that statement was there with the old infrastructure for shared runners. It is possible that this issue is fixed with the new ones?

Just be clear here: This is saying don't strip using the standard strip utility. As the author says in their post, go has flags to do stripping for go binaries.

Sorry, I almost put tasered because I didn't know the correct word and didn't feel like looking it up. Electrocuted sounded better in my head. Either way, obviously what I meant was clear to others.

I don't know about mace, but I have seen people claim that police who are tased before being able to use a taser are only electrocuted for a couple seconds where as in the field police usually electrocute people for much longer. I imag

I upvoted it because, as another commenter said, I have had much the same thoughts before. Some weeks/months I'll have these thoughts everyday. So basically, I upvoted because I identify with what you wrote.

At least for guix, you can install it on top of any distribution and use it instead of the system package managers. I had some troubles with this when I did it, but nothing deal breaking and it isn't 1.0 yet so I imagine some of it wil

Not that it is ready for primetime yet, but guix solves this problem well by allowing each user/application to have its own dependencies of different versions while allowing them to still share if they want the same version. May sound

I would think that if you've hit a plateau on weight loss within a health weight range (which from the sounds of it, you are within a healthy weight range) then you won. Maintain that, and don't worry about having a little extra f

I don't know about IE9 being "effectively evergreen" but I can say that the only browser specific bugs we've had to deal with recently have been IE9 so I wouldn't consider it on the same level as IE10 and IE11. IE9

My parents also lost all of their funds in their 50s due to the stock market crash, but they were getting close to retirement and shouldn't have had their funds in high risk.

My spouse doesn't work. I'm nearly 25 and on/above target on my 401k savings and am slowly gaining money in regular savings accounts too. I made some bad decisions with debt a few years ago or I'd be even farther ahead.

Watch the traffic go by with a packet sniffer? Verifying that it is done securely is a lot harder, but you can at least verify that things are not being sent as plain text/data.

I'd imagine people don't bother looking at an oracle technology and just assume it is closed or unsupported due to the ways they generally operate. That doesn't make it right to do this, but that'd be my guess. I certain
