Theoretically every project is easier with AST manipulation due to being able to create a high level DSL that directly maps to your problem. In practice, I think good DSLs are hard to make and so most projects never get the full benefit. I

"simple" explanations are quite often the ones with the most assumptions so I don't think your interpretation is accurate.

Luckily most of these dirty jobs can and should be done by robots. Though in some cases we may not yet be able to program one advanced enough, we soon will be able to.

Yes, many politicians in general like to waste government resources on all kinds of things(republicans, democrats, and third parties). That doesn't have any relevancy to whether or not Cromey specifically is doing it to avoid waste.

My guess is it was as a political decision but not in the way you discuss. I would guess Comey knows that Clinton, due to being Clinton, would not be successfully prosecuted, so decided not to recommend prosecution and waste further resourc

Ruby and Clojure are doing decently (though obviously not as popular as say C and Java) and have pretty advanced metaprogramming. For that matter C++ templates are metaprogramming from what I understand, and C macros are a really really pri

Direct bank transfers and a debit card with a high/no limit are other options. I have both. Of course, that doesn't mean you have either easily available to you.

If that was the case, the DNC could easily release materials showing that his releases are not representative. They can even make them up.

Sugar specifically is showing signs of being incredibly bad for you and yet is added to most of the "diet foods" instead of fat (which is showing signs of being less bad for you then people say). I don't have the studies hand

I wasn't aware of that, and that was wrong. However, the blog post discussed here nor anyone in the thread has suggested that that should be done so I'm confused why you are fixated on it.

Why is a rape allegation needed? A history of sexual harassment, rape or not, is enough for me to kick someone out of any community I'm a part of. There's the problem of false accusations, but I think there is enough "evidenc

Right, I believe the author's intent was that when you consider something the person is doing to be harassment and you still have a cost benefit analysis about whether to keep them, you have failed.
