Water isn't allowed on board planes? I usually bring an empty nalgene through security and then fill it in one of the many water fountains in the terminals. Works well!

Fig functionality was not merged into Docker's 1.3 release. Ansible/Chef orchestration IMHO solves a very different problem than container orchestration.

to be honest i still usually implement virtualenv when constructing a container. This way I'm sure that I'm not interfering with the os-level python dependencies, and any activation of the environment is handled by a "pytho

I'd love to see these guys start using Docker. Not only would it be easier for developers to containerize their apps to fit this platform, but it would be quite a boost to the eco-system -- pushing development of Docker to (potentially

As it is a massive commercial product that is developed to run on PS3 and Xbox 360 I'm sure it runs "OK" on the PS3.

To me this feels like a group of friends that are already financially stable deciding they're tired of working in a corporate juggernaut and just want to "get the band back together". Maybe quip works out, maybe it doesn'

This is the main thing I got out of this story when it first broke. The firm was able to buy over a billion dollars worth of stock but was undercapitalized after incuring a loss ~5MM? Just doesn't make sense.

i always thought of the physical structure of celery and how it splits and is stringy - reminds my of piping tasks through a distributed task queue. i like the rabbit connection too though!

Who determines what the decorum for such a dialog should be? Does the informality effect in any way the rationality or defensibility of their choices? Why do people care? I'd much rather read an article in this tone rather than some stuffy

Crashlytics was never really on my radar until today, but I'm really impressed by their design work. Really great stuff.

I really like this idea! However, I think the value of this really lies in building a community of users that share their drawings. That's what makes instagram really great and "sticky". I think putting a $1.99 barrier to entry into the eco

I've used this in an interview and was very frustrated. Perhaps it was the fault of the interviewer and the way he framed his questions (they were slightly involved questions -- "write a command line utility that converts an image file, inc

I can imagine being a developer on this product would be insanity. They probably implemented the Airplay feature, showed it to their bosses and for whatever reason the higher-ups had their reasons for nixing the second screen... Then they t

Excellent product and superb demo. Question that may be a bit off-topic but one I'd really like to know: what editor are you using there when you're editing the python service? Thanks and congratulations on your launch.

I think it has very little to do with the design of the CPU itself but rather the unprecedented introduction of a functional CPU being emulated and usable/programmable within a game itself.

I love d3. Mike Bostock does great work and the flexibility of the d3 library really makes it super-powerful. The fact that it doesn't work lt IE9, however, makes it unusable for me at work. Most people on corporate networks (at least in my
