- dingaling 12y agoEven metal Sigg bottles go through security fine, so long as you've shaken all the water out and keep the caps in your pocket. Doesn't seem to matter if the bottles are visible or inside your bag. Tested in: Canada, Ireland, USA, UK, mainland Europe.
- theseoafs 12y agoWater is allowed on planes. Obviously, since water (and many other refreshments) are served on planes. Liquids are not allowed going through security, but as you say, it's easy to refill your water bottle once you get through security.
- Cerium 12y agoCathay Pacific does a water check at the gate for flights going from HK to the US.
