I’m a big fan of this approach. Even funded (small donation) one study that was started as a single person studying self, then he replicated on relatives, then online community, and then decided to get a defendable study done and raised fun

Gout is definitely not limited to diabetes. I’m not overweight, no history of diabetes in the family, and I eat very clean otherwise. It’s more related to your ability to metabolize fructose which is a rabbit hole of a topic of itself. But

At this point I believe it’s not only about the total intake per day, but also the frequency. I can eat a lot in one day and get nothing. But if I indulge a few days in a row a trickle of pain will remind me that I need to ease up. I think

It’s because CSS is a constantly moving target of massive conceptual differences from the last one. Plus all the tooling changes frequently as well.

I have my own anecdotal evidence to support my own case. My diet is very clean. But at one point I lived in a country with an abundance of fruit and after about 2 years of indulgence I got a toe pain. Didn’t think much of it. Thought I just

Does this happen with any carbs? There’s a strong link with fructose and gout.

Yeah my anecdote is similar. My parents lived 25 minute drive from Kanata (Ottawa suburb), a proper tech hub. The drive was over rural roads, not highways . And they had no infra. Internet was a terrible satellite. Water pump. Septic tank.

Have you tried AWS CDK in watch and hotswap mode? It’ll quickly replace all Lambdas with new versions upon save. Not a few ms, but a few seconds.

I’ve been using Ethereal [1] for ages. It works great and has an API. Also totally free. Downside: - it’s hosted, which may not be for everyone if your test emails contain sensitive information. Altho I think it never should. - it sometimes

I’ve had the same experience reading about history. My idea of it would be a Gantt chart. Because the history is still linear. But Gantt allows for dependencies and parallelism.

I’m happy to pay for Reddit if they can figure out how to truly add value to paying users. Some random virtual tokens don’t count. I was a paying user for many years, but ended up cancelling as the difference was so thin and my usage went d

By the way, Canadian tax office has been cross checking with similarities in the category for a long time. Don’t even need an AI or ML for that.

Would love to see some info on minority protections. E.g. establishing a business with two other founders, who were previously in another business relationship and have a greater bond.

Software can quantize with a margin of error to imitate humans. And you can configure the “swing” effect. In the end it sounds just as human would. With perfect quantization it definitely sounds dry and a tell tale sign of a noob beat maker

Keep in mind that these photos are from just a bit less than a decade after the WW2 ended. It took a lot out of the region in both the capital and human terms. Just think how long it took to recover from the 2008 crisis and then multiply th

Maybe it’s not true for some countries. But I flew Porto to Barcelona and it was like riding a bus. My record time from taxi to gate is 12 minutes at Porto airport. There’s definitely no excess of security or any theatre. Very vanilla.

I knew a guy from rural Canada who’d stop software engineering work for the winter and would do snow plowing (contracts, for money). Then back to software when the winter was over.

I kind of agree with you and I followed almost the same path. Excerpt one thing I noticed. That the times it is subtly wrong I waste a ton of time finding the bug. It’s like looking for bugs in someone else’s code. I lack the context and mu
