I happen to take good care of my hardware, but I have so many great items (at least to me) that just won't run properly because they lack required supported software or contact with some defunct server. The gTar was latest thing I f

Svelte fits in nicely in this respect. I like being able to see all of the elements composing a component or view in one file (or as much as is reasonable).

I get your point, but as long as someone can act the way you demand, why does it matter whether they would have acted that way on their own. The public interface is what matters, not private thoughts, not cultural or personal influences. Y

To properly judge a candidate, don't assume, don't hide requirements; If you're willing to filter them out on it, tell them up front what you're judging them on. If they still can't or won't comply, your filte

With all due respect, if you read the parent comment and then read the actual bill, it's very hard to reconcile those comments with the actual text of the bill. It's obviously OK to disagree with the bill, but creating strawman a

Just because you (legally) can, doesn't mean you should. Freedom to express opinions (that someone may judge good or bad or even dangerous) is important. It's so important that people are constantly (and usually incorrectly) invok

Work presented in a poster doesn't have to be published. And the biggest benefit is you usually get to talk to a person standing with the poster that did the work. Lot's of interesting information comes by that route, not to ment

So you're willing to admit exemptions. Who determines their legitimacy? I think I have a very rational risk/reward assessment that tells me the booster is not in my best interest. It's not so easy. Your strategy of coercion

This strategy is shameless expediency on the behalf of "society" -- really just mob rule wrapped in good intentions. Get vaccinated for yourself or your family or for society - your choice. Don't force others to assume risk

The double-slit experiment should be in this category. Unfortunately, it is hard to peg one instance as the definitive experiment, unlike Meselson and Stahl or Michelson-Morley.
