Isn’t that just done in a higher level language, tweaking the algorithm to allow duplicates, and then being surprised there is clustering? I mean, I don’t see why that is special? Correct me if I’m wrong. I like his research and views on bi

I just yesterday read about obfuscated Trojan quines in compilers, and a good test being building the compiler twice and it being the same, and now I hear this. Spooked me for a sec xD

“ Here’s a basic example using the statement, “This true statement is not provable.” If it were provable, it would be false, making logic inconsistent. If it’s not provable, then it’s true, but that makes any system trying to prove it incom

I agree. I mainly write c# nowadays, but even there I try to make everything as immutable as possible. Makes everything so much easier to reason about.

Mandatory ID wouldn’t be that bad if implemented claims-based, from within the browser. So that the browser could ask: Hey government, is this user above 18? And the government just responds with yes or no. Sites would then only need to wh

All classes in Java.lang are automatically imported. It’s not uncommon to see Java calls within clojure code. With aot it generates Java classes, calls those stubs and dispatches. Stack traces are half clojure, half Java. It’s not just cloj

Simple made easy talks about things which are “simple” as in not intertwined, vs “easy” (it works, but is tangled or intertwined). Clojure is intertwined with the JVM. Stack traces are half clojure, half Java. It is a perfect example of som
