I see mask a sort of like logs in warships used to plug leaks during battle. Cheap, easy to source and relatively effective enough in a pinch... at least enough to buy time for a proper response. Might not be as effective as prepping before

Unlikely that they are using javascript in the actual flight controller. Also under the screen they have a small amount of manual buttons that is likely to be seperate from the touchscreen interface logic.

They may not be entitied to a job... but they certainly are entitled to not be screwed below the poverty line through no fault of their own, just because the the owner wanted an extra buck. Hence the universal basic income.
