I just realized this going through the API docs when I noticed the docs for 3.0.0 were now live on api.rubyonrails.org. Finally! (Of course, just two hours after converting one app from rc1 to rc2.)

It's very easy to buy unlocked phones in Germany and, from what I hear, most of Europe. Even data roaming prices within Europe have come down to very agreeable levels. I'm with O2 Germany, and IIRC I can use data roaming anywhere in Europe

I wish someone would manage to hack the bootloader of the new Motorolas (Milestone, probably Droid X and Droid 2). We still don't have proper custom ROMs for that...

The same command works on Skype and does what one would expect. It's just not really advertised. Try typing /help in a Skype chat window.

A huge impediment to developing apps for Android seem to be the absolutely incredible shortcomings of Google Checkout. Most countries cannot even buy paid apps, even fewer countries can publish paid apps. That kills pretty much any incentiv

Thanks for the link. My first reaction was similar, followed by "Who will profit", and I see the Wired article poses pretty much the same questions.

Current WYSIWIG editors use contenteditable or some other browser-inbuilt rich text control, with varying results. Aloha uses parts of the browsers control, but does its own selection handling, cursor handling, and formatting control. The n
