In ML 101, I learned that NNs are general function approximators. So given the right training data and algorithm, they should be able to learn to add numbers. Or any other computable function. Also, we don’t know how GPT computes numbers re

If you can get done twice as much because you have a robot assistant, then, your basically producing twice the amount of goods or services. So, people can consume more. To be able to produce or consume more the abstractly growth GDP. I gues

I think data supports your statement. But it doesn’t mean that it will be true after some generations. I like to compare our world with a bottle garden that kids in high school use for experiments. Some species might really flourish in this

I think this piece of writing is quite worrisome. I feel like the message of the text is: It’s the right time when you feel like it is. Certainly, true for many things in life. Having children later in life has risks for mother and child. I

C++ isn't my favorite programming language anymore. I guess the Doom 3 source code is an elegant codebase. Surprisingly, they used C++ features quite sparsely. I think that’s nice because in programming it’s about getting the job done

In These cases I'd recommend text objects. For example, ci) Will delete everything inside parentheses and put you in insert mode. Even works for HTML tags with t I think. Edit: should be ci) to preserve the parentheses.

Sometimes I ask myself when the first major companies won’t need any employees anymore. Basically, run by an AI that reports to investors and tries to buy robots on the markets to fulfill its goals. Seems like we’re not there yet at all.
