My international corporate tax law knowledge is also practically nil, but I believe there is discussion in Congress about a corporate tax holiday that would allow them to bring money back to the US at a 3.5% tax rate.

You say that like it's a failure on the devs' part, but that's kind of like blaming regular users for not switching to Linux because they don't like editing network configuration files.* It's masking the problem that there are real develop

That makes the commas easier to see (and is ugly IMO) but it's still one comma away from making the rest of your variables global. What's so bad about just var a = "foo"; var b = "bar"; var c = "baz";

This is why I really dislike it when I see var a = "foo", b = "bar", c = "baz"; All it takes is one missed comma and all of a sudden you've turned a lot of your variables global.

Not in the sense of running out of machines, but at least from my past experiences if your VMs share physical hardware with someone who is using their maximum IO, yours will suffer as well. It makes it more challenging to load test. When th

The price I was quoted was actually $17k/year for 250,000 impressions. We asked for clarification, and the salesperson said yes, you only get 250,000 impressions a year. That's $68 cpm. With some pushback they increased it to 1M impression

One other thing that is also useful: for any automated message you send, make sure that it comes from a real address that you monitor. Many, many customers reply directly to the automated emails.

I think the difference in the two interactions is that if a biker hits a pedestrian they are likely to be hurt just as bad as the pedestrian if not worse. A driver who hits a cyclist or pedestrian risks a dent in the hood at the worst. So
