I've been pretty vocal about my problem with the popularity contest, but there's no denying Dribbble's ability to have followers and the number of those followers greatly enhances the promotion of your product if you let your designer pos

As per a comment below, designers/people "don't know what IRC is." I agree with you (and anyone working in web should understand its technologies -- past and present), but that's an argument.

Interesting. So that reply was ages old, but in the event that you're dealing with a manager like that today - what is the best thing to do outside of leaving the organization?

Ditto. Was expecting it to tell me about the dinners before the groups in my area. I assumed (because of the interests I put in) that the Young Professionals Group was hosting a dinner so I "joined" it. Then when I was on my profile, I real

Thanks for the reply - those would both be really helpful! Actually another question -- my boyfriend ( http://www.lastplacefootwear.com ) is currently trying to get a feel for what designs of his people are into before he sets out to spend

Will it ever be possible to import my Svpply feed and distribute those into collections? It'd also be nice if there were some grid presets for creating a new collection, since how someone organizes/presents their set has a lot to do with wh

Correcting someone on Twitter draws a lot more attention to the conversation than necessary and, in my experience, people react more defensively because of it. I also don't think it makes for very good UX to have to go to an entirely differ

I laughed at the premise alone, but seeing the submissions and trying it out myself was a blast. Great work on this. I'd almost like to see an X vs. Y poetry slam.

My biggest gripe with Coderwall is that without comments, there's a lot of stolen content in addition to no way to correct someone when they're off about something or give them a better suggestion.

Whether it's IE, FF3.6 or whomever else, I'll blame them for stifling my creativity and ability to make things work and look good in a timeframe that doesn't make me pull my hair out. Telling us that we're not meant to work in web if we can

I've gotta say, apps that utilize the same diagonal-line structure as native iOS apps are confusing, even more when they use the same blue that everyone else does ( http://pxldot.com/post/26373071943/apples-icon-ecosystem-or-... ). I unders
