Other than the styles, I'm not so sure this is much better than the jQuery UI Datepicker.

I'm a big fan of logic captchas. Not only are they way more accessible than image captchas, but the frustration factor is not nearly as high.

It'd be nice if I could change what my "display name" is anyways, whether you use Google+ or not (which I don't).

What should have happened is to hand off development and/or ownership of the app to another dev team. Sofa, the team that made Versions and Kaleidoscope, did just that when they were acquired by Facebook. The apps still live on, thanks to

Damn, it was nice knowing you Sparrow. I seriously hope they don't let Google's UI/UX designers anywhere near Sparrow.

Did you seriously just point out all of the blue icons you could find? Regardless of the fact that they would seriously be confused with Sparrow's icon?

I just don't understand why this is a problem. If the goal of a web language is to build websites then JUST BUILD WEBSITES. Who honestly still gives a shit what you build it in? If you are into .NET and build .NET sites, then cool. I w

Is this a case of the app getting approved as something else and then the developer turns around and changes something in the meta that doesn't require approval?

Quality, yes. Cost, hell no. Dr. Horrible cost over $200k. Game of Thrones costs upwards of $60 million per season .

Some folks are willing to pay for exactly what they want, but they're not willing to pay an additional amount to get content they don't care about. You have the option of buying the DVDs or through iTunes. Using your analogy, they can bu

People that are pirating the show aren't willing to pay. If they were then they'd be subscribed to HBO.

HBO will gladly take your money...through cable. Just because you don't like the delivery method doesn't mean there isn't a way to access the content you want. Compare this to movies. Is it the responsibility of studios to make sure you c

Being able to lock the pseudo class on the inspector is pretty freaking great (though not quite as intuitive to figure out how just yet). Also, a very happy change is that the panels remember what you want to have open. Next on the list sh

Matt has said that Tumblr and WordPress can happily co-exist together. One doesn't have to replace the other. The simplification he's talking about is just a UI decision, not a technical limitation.

This is just another example that image CAPTCHA's are a weak spam deterrent and they are great example of dark UI patterns. The benefits of using this kind of system are shrouded in the user's cost.

If you really want to reduce the amount of JavaScript you write for validation, you should be using the jQuery Form Validation plugin. I know it's an extra but who cares. It's totally flexible and you can validate your form in one line

I don't know how Mozilla came to the conclusion that their Web inspector is actually usable. The HTML doesn't appear when inspecting (no, that takes an extra click). The CSS appears in an extra vertical sidebar taking up even more room on
