More or less true; those who hold data bear responsibility for it. The biggest issue is that unlike, say, bank robberies, people can steal data from beyond the long arm of the law. As a sidenote, where do you live that firearms owners are

I think you're right. If there's one thing we've learned, it's that all information which is stored digitally will be leaked at one point or another. We need to focus on storing less information wherever possible. Also

While you're right from an exercise standpoint, you're dead wrong from a design one, at least if you want to apply it broadly. A lot of us live in places where summer days can easily top 100 degrees, and the better part of the ye

You're absolutely right. The thing America most needs to do is open her borders to truly free trade with the world, with the exception of Red China and a few other nations we want to topple. More than that, we need to build free trad

I too am wondering about this. There's a lot to learn, and it doesn't help that a lot of the info focuses on older C++ more than the modern variety.

How does one determine when a bug is in the compiler vs. just a dumb code error? Examining compiler output?

My username is a dead meme that is generally used to ironically mock oneself as stupid. Also, y is only sometimes a vowel for a reason; it's not the same open-mouth sort of sound as others. I think there's a big difference than

It's more that any word where one has to slow down and insert extra time between syllables so that they are distinghishable and intelligible is a "poorly designed word". Otherwise, it starts blurring due to the lack of a con

And the funny thing is, C++ is so complex it's the last language I'd expect to have multiple optimizing compilers (though rust is probably similar, I imagine.)

Spacex did launch a rocket with an electron interface... In practice, though, V8 is the serious impementation. The interesting thing about C and C++ is that I don't know if any given dev is using Clang, GCC, or MSVC until I ask him.

It's interesting when you look at it from this perspective. AWS and other big IPv4 owners have a financial incentive to hold back IPv6 deployment in a convenient and scalable fashion, because that would quickly wipe out billions in va

I'm somewhat inclined to agree at first glance. If I see unlimited, I expect to get the value. I only order the "unlimited free refills" coke if I'm going to sit and work somewhere for four or five hours, since it'

As far as the user is concerned, imessage does mostly operate with another "open" platform, SMS. Certain features don't work for apple users texting others, but core functionality is intact. This is also because apple innov

I don't really use google for anything; I never did, which probably made it easier than for those who had to switch. For e-mail I run a standard dovecot and postfix set up. For drive, I just scp files to a server. I don't take
